Viva Tampa Bay Festival

Following a reschedule due to Hurricane Helene, Viva Tampa Bay is back and set to bring the heart of Latin culture to Tampa with a two-day celebration at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11 AM to 11 PM, and Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 11 AM to 9 PM. The festival promises an unforgettable weekend of music, food, family fun, and cultural pride uniting the entire community.

Festivalgoers can look forward to an exhilarating lineup of events and entertainment for all ages. From a 60-foot Ferris wheel in the Kids Zone to the debut of the Chef Inspired Best Lechón Competition judged by Tampa’s local celebrities, there’s truly something for everyone. Attendees will also enjoy special appearances by The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Tampa Bay Tarpons.

The festival kicks off with a flavorful start, featuring Tampa’s top chefs competing in the Best Lechón Competition to showcase their skills in crafting this traditional Latin pork dish. Food enthusiasts can also enjoy Craft Cocktails developed by mixologists from some of Tampa Bay’s finest bars, adding a creative twist to the festival's culinary offerings.

Saturday, February 1, 2025, featuring celebrity talent:

Saturday will be packed with Latin Electronic DJs, featuring the talents of Riich Music, Polyrythm, Mr. Pauer, Hector Romero, Flagrant DRVMS, and Mijangos. Attendees can also enjoy an exclusive late-night set by DJ Natipitch and DJ Bhaskar to cap off the day.

On Sunday, the festival continues to bring the energy with performances by DJ Neko, George Lamond, Alex Sensation, and the legendary Oro Sólido to keep the crowds dancing and celebrating.

Family Fun:

Join us for exciting activities in the Kids Zone, where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and Tampa Tarpons will be hosting special games and interactive experiences for children of all ages. For the first time ever, the festival will feature a spectacular 60-foot Ferris wheel, offering stunning views of the downtown skyline.

Culinary Delights & Curated Cocktails:

Immerse yourself in the best of Latin cuisine & curated cocktails by celebrity chefs and Tampa's finest local tastemakers. A special interactive competition for the Best Lechón will take place with vendor delights for all.

Interactive Contests & Crafts:

In addition to the music and food, festivalgoers can explore a variety of artisan vendors, cultural dance exhibitions, and interactive competitions. The festival will also honor the city's most influential Hispanic leaders with the prestigious Viva Tampa Bay Heritage Community Heroes Award. Plus, all proceeds from the event will support the Course of Action Foundation, which aids disaster relief for veterans, and All For the Kids Inc., providing scholarships to high school students.
